Who We Are

Project Friends of America began on (as) a personal initiative of Jose Neto, a Brazilian man, moved by Jesus Christ in 2002 to help people in need in Brazil.
In (At) the beginning on (of) the project our goal was to distribute bread and milk to children in need in Almadina, Bahia in Brazil. As time went on we started distributing basic food baskets to families of the region, and in Vale do Jequetinhonha in Minas Gerais.

With the grace of God, and the hard work of Jose Neto, and the generosity of the Free Methodist Church in Fairfield, we expanded the project by opening an informative school in Almadina, Bahia. Many people in need started attending classes in the morning, afternoons or night at the school.
This way we gave these people an opportunity to gain independence and work to support themselves and their families because the school opened new doors in the work field. None of this would be possible without the valuable cooperation of the donors.
We worship God for the number of donors we have today however, we have prayed to God so that many others would come and help us. We believe that our duty in this region was completed. Now with the new direction of God we accept the new challenge for the year 2010.
Our new Goal is to reach lives in (on) the African Continent.

Project Friends of America's Objective

Project Friends of America has an objective to help people in need, who don't even have the basic necessities to survive. We want to save lives by offering them these basic necessities for survival and helping them develop citizenship.
The goal for the Project Friends of America is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, creating an infra-structure based on feeding the hungry, giving them education, help in health and helping them become professionals so they can gain financial independence.
